About Me

My Author Bio

Eden Appiah-Kubi (she/her) is a librarian, DC-area native, and the author of the Austen-inspired novels Her Own Happiness and The Bennet Women. She fell in love with 19th century literature at a young age through her mom and A LOT of Masterpiece Theatre. Eden developed her fiction writing while serving in the Peace Corps and refined it through writing groups in DC. Today lives in the Prince George’s County with her husband, hilarious daughter, and elder statesman of an orange tabby, Riker.

Eden longs for a Free Palestine and peace and safety for particularly for marginalized folks in the US, the people of Iran, Lebanon, South Sudan, and Congo.
